Primary SEND Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary SEND Educator to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a dedicated professional, you will work closely with students who require additional support in primary school settings. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver tailored educational support, creating individualized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student.
About the Role:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, offering the opportunity for remote tutoring sessions. You will be working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions to help them progress academically. Your experience in working with children with SEN is essential, as well as your knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver individualized learning plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
* Engage students in academic activities, promoting their emotional well-being and confidence.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Collaborate with teachers to ensure seamless integration of support services into classroom learning.
Requirements:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs or a related field.
* Experience in delivering one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions to students with SEN.
* Strong understanding of the UK primary school curriculum and its adaptations for students with SEN.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with assistive technology in education and training in behaviour management strategies.
