Job Title: Specialist Paramedic - GP Surgery Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Paramedic to join our team as a GP Surgery Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting patient assessments and triage for urgent appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and triage for urgent appointments.
  • Provide definitive treatment or referrals as needed.
  • Educate patients on self-care and general healthcare practices.
  • Perform health checks, ECGs, and collect pathology specimens.
  • Support anticipatory care and end-of-life plans.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues across the healthcare network.

Qualifications:

  • Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience as a Paramedic with relevant clinical skills.
  • (Optional) Membership of the College of Paramedics Voluntary Register.
