Paramedic Resource Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our team as a Paramedic Resource Specialist. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, refer or signpost patients/service users with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness or minor injury.
  • Coordinate telephone triage, taking clinical responsibility for all patients who have requested an urgent appointment.
  • Provide a specialist Paramedic resource for health care professionals and service users, working in collaboration with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team.
Requirements:
  • BSc in Paramedic Science or IHCD Paramedic qualification.
  • Paramedic Registration with the HCPC.
  • Five years post-registration experience.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.
  • Long Term Conditions Qualifications.
  • Membership of the College of Paramedics.
Salary:

£35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
