About the Role

As a Project Management Specialist for Nuclear Power Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and managing schedules that incorporate risk, change, resource requirements, and cost in accordance with EDF Generation Company requirements and standards.

This role is part of our Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team supporting EDF Energy Nuclear Generation with their nuclear fleet in the UK. You will work on a large client-led team at EDF's Gloucester Business Park location and be accountable to the client Project Manager, Programme Manager, and/or Construction Manager.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of HNC/HND in an engineering discipline or relevant experience. They must have breadth of experience across the whole project and programme lifecycle and be experienced in using Primavera. Additionally, they should be able to develop, control, monitor, analyze, and report on schedule-related aspects for designated projects within a portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage schedules to incorporate risk, change, resource requirements, and cost in accordance with EDF Generation Company requirements and standards
  • Create plans for the full project lifecycle, including development and design in the Nuclear Defueling team, supporting delivery of the client's ALR2 commitments
  • Integrate 3rd party schedules and data into the overall project plan
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of management and provide monthly reports through the provision of intelligent information and analysis
