Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Visionary Engineering Leader to join our team at Promote Project. As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead two teams of Applied Scientists and Engineers to deliver AI/ML solutions at scale.

About the Role:

  • Set Direction: Define a long-term vision and direction for our AI/ML projects, driven by customer needs, and foster collaboration across teams and functions.
  • Develop Research Agenda: Balance short-term deliverables with measurable business impact and long-term investments in AI/ML research.
  • Technical Supervision: Guide development efforts to maximize outcomes in your team's area, leveraging machine vision, deep learning, and other relevant technologies.
  • Hire and Develop Talent: Provide technical and career guidance to Applied Scientists and Engineers, helping them grow within the organization.
  • Innovate: Drive scientific innovation and advance the team's engineering craftsmanship as a practitioner and thought leader.

Requirements:

  • Product Focus: Proven track record of shipping impactful products that meet customer needs.
  • Management Expertise: Experience leading teams of Applied Scientists and ML Engineers.
  • System Expertise: Building, maintaining, and monitoring complex AI/ML models and systems in production.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge and practical experience in machine vision, classical and deep learning, multi-view geometry, GPU accelerators, inference on edge devices, foundational models, real-time systems, and event detection.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
