As the Chief Software Architect for our platform team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the software development life-cycle while providing technical leadership and guidance to the team.

You will support achieving the business goals of our division by collaborating closely with the rest of the Engineering Leadership team. This includes conducting constructive peer reviews of features, contributing to good reviewee hygiene, and monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems owned by the platform team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical expertise in Operating Systems, Networking, Data Structures, Databases, and Caching Technologies
  • Technical writing skills and automation of repetitive tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, Powershell, etc.)
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS best practices and common services
  • Expert-level knowledge of at least one infrastructure-as-code language (e.g., Terraform)
  • Detailed knowledge of building observable systems and understanding the fundamentals of cohesive dashboard design
  • Detailed knowledge of build systems and building containerized applications
  • Flexibility to work on all areas of the service stack, including front-end, back-end, and infrastructure
  • Practical knowledge of at least one programming language (C++, C#, Java, JS, Kotlin, Python, PHP, Golang)

Our competitive salary is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
