Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced data analyst to join our Credit Management Department, which handles activity relating to the collection of unpaid energy bills and other companies within the Ecotricity Group.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in BI, data manipulation, and problem-solving, with experience in building relationships and mentoring junior members of a team.
The role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey key information in a variety of digestible formats, providing delivery timescales and using strong stakeholder management skills to communicate these.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation across multiple tables and data sources.
- Design and develop advanced data pipelines using Databricks.
- Ensure data quality and governance, identifying trends to define and improve business strategies.
- Act as a key point of contact for both regulatory and operational reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
- Proficiency in Databricks and advanced data pipeline design and development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage high-pressure situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Resilient 'can-do' attitude, with persistence to work through complex problems independently.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 3 days per week in the Stroud office and 2 days per week working from home.
