About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Credit Management Department, which handles activity relating to the collection of unpaid energy bills and other companies within the Ecotricity Group.

This technical role will require you to design, scope, develop and deliver data solutions to meet the requests of stakeholders, while seeking opportunities to improve data insight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data solutions to meet stakeholder requests
  • Improve data insight and identify trends to define and improve business strategies
  • Review reporting methods and processes, maximising the opportunity to automate wherever possible
  • Act as a key point of contact for both regulatory and operational reporting

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of SQL for data analysis (MS-SQL/Databricks - T-SQL, View and table design, Experience of ETL)
  • Strong technical analytical skills as a Data Analyst
  • Managing and manipulating data experience
  • Stakeholder management and facilitation of decisions of all sizes
  • Strong presentation skills for engaging senior stakeholders
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations

Essential Skills:

  • Writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation across multiple tables / data sources
  • Selected candidates will undergo a practical SQL test to assess proficiency
  • A resilient 'can do' attitude and persistence to work through complex problems independently
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in delivery to requirements
