Job Title: Community Youth Worker

Colchester United Community Foundation (CUCF) is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Youth Worker to join our team. As a Community Youth Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mentoring sessions, creating engaging content, and supporting various health and inclusion programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality mentoring sessions within schools and community settings.
  • Create engaging content for mentors to deliver and support various CUCF health and inclusion programs.
  • Support CUCF in managing relationships with schools, community organizations, and external partners to enhance the reach and impact of the mentoring and health & inclusion programs.
  • Help CUCF in securing resources and funding opportunities for future program development, contributing ideas for new initiatives or improvements to existing projects.
Requirements:
  • Youth Mental Health First Aider qualification or willingness to complete.
  • Experience in youth work, mentoring, or a similar role within education or community settings.
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Willingness to undertake a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check.
  • Willingness to or already completed FA Safeguarding Children Certificate.
  • Full UK Driving License.
