Job Title: Community Youth Development Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Youth Development Worker to join our team at Colchester United Community Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mentoring sessions within schools, creating content for mentors to deliver, and supporting various health and inclusion programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mentoring sessions within schools and community settings.
  • Create engaging content for mentors to deliver, including workshops and resources.
  • Support the development and implementation of health and inclusion programmes.
  • Collaborate with schools and community partners to ensure a unified approach.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of the mentoring programme.

Requirements:

  • Experience in youth work, mentoring, or a similar role within education or community settings.
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check and obtain relevant qualifications.
