Job Title: Behaviour Intervention Specialist

A stimulating opportunity awaits a skilled and dedicated individual to provide behaviour intervention support to secondary-aged pupils with complex needs in a Special Needs High School.

The school caters to students aged 11-19 with Autism, ADHD, or Social, Emotional difficulties (SEMH), requiring challenging behaviours. As a Behaviour Intervention Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include providing behaviour support in small groups or one-on-one settings.

You will work closely with the SEN team, senior leaders, heads of departments, parents, carers, social workers, and other professionals to create a safe and supportive learning environment that meets the unique needs of each student.

Salary:$40,000 - $55,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide behaviour intervention support to students
  • Collaborate with the SEN team and other professionals
  • Have previous school-based experience
  • Possess a DBS on the Update Service (or be prepared to obtain a new one)
