About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Nurse to join our team at Elgar Ward, a 12-bed service for adult women with acquired or traumatic brain injuries. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and deploy staff to meet patient needs
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet individual preferences and needs
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to manage the care environment
  • Build and monitor relationships with patients, their families, and carers
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements

You will have in-depth experience of working with patients in a mental health service, with a strong background in leadership and management. You will be able to build and maintain effective relationships across clinical teams and have good interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport with patients.
