Job Overview

This is a new permanent role in North West Wales with significant opportunities to develop new and existing pathways of care for adults with complex communication, swallowing, and airway disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and develop excellence in clinical practice.
  • Deliver advanced clinical assessment and interventions.
  • Work clinically within Acute and Community settings, providing care to patients with altered airways, complex communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement new pathways of care for adults with complex communication, swallowing, and airway disorders.
Requirements
  • Highly specialist clinical skills in the assessment and management of patients presenting with tracheostomy, complex swallowing disorders, voice disorders, and head and neck cancer.
  • Ability to carry out and interpret instrumental assessments such as videofluoroscopy and FEES.
  • Experience and demonstrable skills in change management and compassionate leadership.
