Job Title: Clinical Specialist

Join Donard Recruitment as a Clinical Specialist and take on a new challenge in your career. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be working with a leading, multi-national employer to provide unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP).

This is an exciting opportunity for Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role. You will be working in a hybrid environment, with a mix of face-to-face and virtual assessments, and will have the opportunity to work with a variety of health conditions and disabilities.

As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for managing caseloads from end to end, including delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports. You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic
  • 1+ years post-qualification experience
  • Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions
  • Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy

Benefits:

  • Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500
