About the Role

We are looking for a London Canal Museum Volunteer Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.

As a Volunteer Assistant, you will be responsible for opening and closing the museum, greeting and engaging with visitors, answering enquiries, and maintaining safety and well-being.

You will also receive comprehensive inductions and training in visitor engagement, customer service, health & safety, accessibility, child protection, and retail skills.

This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about London's canals and history, meet new people, and build experience in museums and heritage.

Salary: £8.50-£9.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
