Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team at Dove Adolescent Services. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our residential care home, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care and support to young people in our care.

Main Purpose of the Job

The Registered Manager will be accountable for the overall management of the home, ensuring that we meet the needs of our young people and provide a safe and supportive environment. This will involve leading a team of care workers, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring that we comply with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality care and support to young people in our care
  • Lead a team of care workers, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring that they meet the needs of each young person
  • Ensure that the home is safe and secure, with a focus on safeguarding and risk management
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are effective and compliant with relevant legislation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant Diploma level 5 or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of managing a team and developing care plans
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
  • Familiarity with the needs of vulnerable individuals
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, young people, and external agencies
  • Ability to maintain emotional resilience in working with challenging behavior
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
