Early Years Lead Practitioner L5 Independent Assessor:

Pearson is seeking a highly skilled and experienced independent assessor to join our team in evaluating the knowledge, skills, and behaviour of apprentices in the Early Years Lead Practitioner L5 programme.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in early years education and experience in assessing the knowledge, skills, and behaviour of apprentices.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role:

The independent end-point assessor will be responsible for assessing the performance of candidates in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures.

The role requires a high level of expertise in early years education and the ability to maintain and provide evidence of ongoing, relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

The successful candidate will also be expected to follow the protocols set out in Pearson's specifications, assessment materials, and quality assurance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To assess the performance of candidates in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria and procedures
  • To ensure overall standards are maintained and that assessments are conducted fairly and consistently
  • To maintain and provide evidence of ongoing, relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • To follow the protocols set out in Pearson's specifications, assessment materials, and quality assurance protocols
