About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Sales Engineer to join our team at HVAC - FläktGroup UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our external Sales Engineers in generating quotations and converting them into orders within our business area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate quotations for our portfolio of HVAC products, including fans, air handling units, and chillers, for various business types such as mechanical consultants, contractors, local authorities, end-users, and design build contractors.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner, providing accurate and relevant information to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Provide technical information and advice to customers and colleagues as required, leveraging your knowledge of HVAC products and systems.
  • Pass confirmed orders through to our Contracts Department in a concise and orderly manner, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of contracts to customers.
  • Liaise with our global offices and manufacturing facilities to obtain and share relevant information, promoting a collaborative and efficient sales process.
Requirements
  • An engineering or technical qualification is preferred, but not essential. You must demonstrate a strong understanding of technical products, particularly fans and air handling units.
  • Proven experience as an administrator, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Experience working in a sales office environment, selling HVAC products to consultants and contractors.
  • Strong persuasion, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong team working capabilities, with a willingness to encourage a team approach to all practices and activities.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in MS Office software and web-based applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of working within teams and liaising with clients.
  • Ability and willingness to learn about and share knowledge of other products and applications.
