About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at HVAC - FläktGroup UK. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our external Sales Engineers in generating quotations and converting them into orders within our business area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate quotations for our portfolio of HVAC products for various business types, including Mechanical Consultants, Contractors, Local Authorities, End-Users, and Design Build Contractors.
  • Respond to customers' enquiries in a prompt and professional manner, providing accurate and relevant information to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Provide technical information and advice to customers and colleagues as required, leveraging your expertise in HVAC products.
  • Pass confirmed, clean orders through to our Contracts Department in a concise and orderly manner, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of contracts to customers.
  • Liaise with our global offices and manufacturing facilities to obtain and share relevant information.

Requirements:

  • An engineering or technical qualification is preferred, but we also welcome candidates with the ability to develop a sound understanding of technical products, particularly Fans and/or Air Handling Units/Chillers/Fan coil units.
  • Proven experience as an administrator, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Experience working in a sales office environment, selling HVAC products to consultants and contractors.
  • Strong persuasion, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong team working capabilities, with a willingness to encourage a team approach to all practices and activities.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in MS Office software and web-based applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of working within teams and liaising with clients.
  • Ability and willingness to learn about and share knowledge of other products and applications.
