We are seeking a skilled Commercial Sales and Service Expert to join our team at HVAC - FläktGroup UK. As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our external Sales Engineers in generating quotations and converting them into orders within our business area.
The Role:
- To generate quotations for our portfolio of HVAC products, including fans, air handling units, chillers, and fan coil units, for various business types such as mechanical consultants, contractors, local authorities, end-users, and design build contractors.
- To respond to customers' enquiries, providing technical information and advice in a prompt and professional manner, while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
- To provide technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues, as required, to ensure seamless product sales and delivery.
- To pass confirmed, clean orders through to our Contracts Department in a concise and orderly way, ensuring that contracts are delivered to customers' requirements, on-time and within budget.
- To collaborate with our global offices and manufacturing facilities to obtain and share relevant information, enhancing our product sales and customer satisfaction.
Your Profile:
- An engineering or technical qualification is preferred, but we also welcome applicants with the ability to develop a sound understanding of technical products, particularly HVAC systems.
- An experienced administrator, well-organized and capable of working quickly and accurately under their own initiative in a fast-paced office environment.
- Proven experience working in a sales office environment, selling HVAC products to consultants and contractors.
- Excellent persuasion, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong team working capabilities, with a willingness to encourage a team approach to all practices and activities.
- Strong IT skills, with particular competence in the use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of working within teams and liaising with clients.
- Ability and willingness to learn about and share knowledge of other products and applications, enhancing our product sales and customer satisfaction.
