We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Deputy Team Leader to join our team at Norsk Hydro. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Shift Management: Manage shift activities and achieve departmental goals by promoting a team-based culture and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Quality Assurance: Lead quality actions and improvements to ensure production outputs meet quality standards and delivery is on time and in full.
- Production Planning: Plan, implement, and control production operating targets and metrics, including OTD, Internal Scrap Rates, Claims and Returns, Press/Equipment Downtime, and Die Failure Rate.
- Communication and Collaboration: Contribute to daily communication meetings with the team and build strong relationships across departments to support effective decision making for operational performance.
- Housekeeping and Safety: Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained and a safe working environment is achieved by embedding the 5S management program and following all HSE requirements.
- Training and Development: Develop skills within the team through training activities that allow for rotation of skills and flexibility.
- Team Support: Support the team leader and line manager to deliver our people policies, including absence management, performance, training, and development, holiday booking, and team engagement activity.
