Claims Deputy Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:- Lead by Example: Foster a team-based culture and continuous improvement mindset to achieve departmental goals and manage shift activities.
- Quality Excellence: Ensure production outputs meet Right First Time standards and delivery is On Time and in Full through effective Quality actions and improvements.
- Production Planning: Plan, implement, and control production operating targets and metrics, including OTD, Internal Scrap Rates, Claims and Returns, Press/Equipment Downtime, and Die Failure Rate.
- Communication and Collaboration: Contribute to daily communication meetings with the team and build strong relationships across departments to support effective decision making for operational performance.
- Team Development: Embed the 5S management program and ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained, promoting a safe working environment.
- Training and Development: Develop skills within the team through training activities that allow for rotation of skills and flexibility.
- Support and Guidance: Confidently perform and train all duties to the team across the press, including packing, inspection, and other tasks.
- People Policies: Support the team Leader and Line Manager in delivering our people policies, including Absence Management, Performance, training and development, holiday booking, and team engagement activity.
