Occupational Therapist Associate Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Associate Practitioner to join our Community Enhancing Recovery Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with longer-term mental health conditions to achieve their goals and live well in their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the Occupational Therapist and peer support worker to develop and implement care plans that promote recovery and independence.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support to individuals with complex emotional needs, working in a trauma-informed way.
- Establish links with local community groups and work as a collaborative part of the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge and skills to promote holistic care and support.
- Essential qualifications: Level 5 Apprenticeship/Foundation degree in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Desirable qualifications: Experience of the speciality area, group facilitation skills, and willingness to undertake further study/development.
- Desirable skills: Excellent customer care skills, knowledge of care procedures, practice, recovery model, care pathway, and person-centred care.
