Job Title: Care Team Manager

Job Type: Part-time

Working Hours: Evening shifts, 5pm-10pm

Pay: £12.87-£13.02 per hour

Expected Workload: 5 hours per week

  • DBS: Payable by the individual, refunded after 12 months
  • Tunics: Purchased by the individual
  • Training: Online Mandatory Training provided

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of care assistants on evening shifts and ensure residents receive assistance and support.
  2. Complete medication rounds and document as per training and individual MAR sheets.
  3. Share and handover information to night time carers at the end of each shift.
  4. Respond to accidents and incidents, ensuring documentation is completed as required.
  5. Ensure domestic duties are completed by the team prior to the end of each shift.
  6. Adhere to health and safety regulations, COSHH, and environmental health regulations.
  7. Comply with infection prevention regulations and practices.
  8. Attend staff appraisal meetings and contribute to discussions.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and establish good relationships with service users, relatives, and colleagues.
  10. Provide support and assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  11. Carry out regular checks and security patrols throughout the night.
  12. Coordinate activities and support external entertainers.
  13. Document daily activities and observations accurately and factually.
  14. Communicate with the registered manager if any serious or unsafe events occur.
