About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Data Manager to join our team in Hemel Hempstead. As a key member of our Commercial & Programmes team, you will be responsible for managing the sales forecasting processes and all programme accounting for the NW Europe region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Forecasting and Planning: Oversee the maintenance of the rolling monthly Market Review forecast for Order Intake and Revenue looking forward 18 months for the NW Europe market.
  2. Commercial Analysis: Stay up to date on developments with Programmes, Sales, Marketing & Operations to ensure the rolling forecasts, annual budget, programmes accounting, and invoicing is updated accordingly.
  3. Issue Flagging: Flag significant issues to NW Europe market management where appropriate.
  4. IFRS15 Compliance: Manage all IFRS15 issues related to Programmes, ensuring accounting & forecast accuracy.
  5. Programme Balances: Monthly review of all programmes balances (WIP, deferred revenue, unbilled), raising accruals or other entries as appropriate.
  6. KPI Management: Manage preparation of weekly KPIs for Market Head & monthly Market Review presentations.
  7. Commercial Variance Analysis: Support UK Financial Controller with commercial variance explanations required for internal reporting and external audit purposes.
  8. Financial Modelling: Preparation of financial modelling supporting bids & tenders for programmes.
  9. Internal Controls: Ensure all internal controls and accounting policies regarding programmes accounting and bids & tenders are followed.
  10. Revenue and Order Intake: Lead Revenue and Order Intake for the annual Budget & Strategic Plan process.
  11. SAP Data Accuracy: Monitor & drive improvements in SAP data accuracy entered by Sales and Ops teams.
  12. Team Leadership: Manage a team delivering all of the above.
About You
  1. Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  2. Commercial Knowledge: Good knowledge or experience of IFRS standards, especially IFRS15 accounting for programmes.
  3. Commercial Experience: Experience of commercial sales forecasting & analysis for decision making.
  4. International Experience: Commercially astute and used to working in an international, matrix environment.
  5. Communication Skills: Professional, succinct and confident communicator to senior leadership.
  6. Technical Skills: Good MS Office / Excel, SAP, and management information systems (Oracle EPBCS) skills.
  7. SAP Programme Accounting: Detailed knowledge of SAP programme accounting; WBS structures, ZPLANS and reporting.
  8. Language Skills: Foreign language skills (especially Hebrew) an advantage.
