About the Role

The Principal Construction Cost Manager will be a key member of the NTT Global Data Centers EMEA GmbH team, responsible for developing and implementing industry-leading cost management and estimating strategies across the EMEA portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure accurate and timely cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, and benchmarking at project and programme level.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement process improvements.
  • Manage the assessment, creation, and reduction of cost of development benchmarks for NTT's reference design, expansion, and regional and sub-regional cost variances and considerations.
  • Support the development of global standards for cost management processes and ensure compliance across the EMEA portfolio.
  • Undertake project and programme change management, including proactive trend analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Interfacing with the GDC EMEA, finance, asset management, and controlling teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management, preferably with data centre experience.
  • Preferably a Degree/Masters in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management.
  • Business fluent in English, with another language such as German being an advantage.
  • Experience of managing others, with good communication skills, flexible, proactive approach, and good stakeholder management.
  • High reliability and ability to quickly build trust, with the ability to cope with tight deadlines, prioritise workloads, and maintain a consistent, high standard of output.
  • Flexible to travel for meetings/site visits/collaboration time across multiple locations.
