Job Description:

Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager looking to take the next step in your career? Gold Group Ltd is seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join the team in Hemel Hempstead. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Construction Project Management: Undertake construction project management duties, including project planning, cost estimating and cost planning.
  2. Contract Management: Assist in the administration and management of various construction contracts, ensuring compliance and adherence to contractual terms.
  3. Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to clients for cost-effective solutions.
  4. Cost Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, including cost forecasting, valuations, and final accounts.
  5. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a point of contact for project-related discussions and queries.
  6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members, including senior construction project managers and other construction project managers, to achieve project objectives.
  7. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices, ensuring that projects comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • BSc (Hons) in Construction Project Management or a related field.
  • Experience working on similar projects £10,000 - £1million
  • Working towards or keen to work towards membership with a relevant professional body.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proven success working on a variety of construction projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience using M3NHF Schedule of rates
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts (JCT/NEC)
