Job Title: Software Components Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Components Lead to join our team at Renishaw. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of graphics and CAD components used in our MODUS and other products. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented software engineer to take on a technical leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software components for use in the manufacturing industry
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to break down feature requests into manageable tasks
  • Write and maintain automated tests to ensure the quality of our products
  • Take ownership of software products to ensure design and implementation meet high standards
  • Lead and motivate a small team of software engineers to achieve technical goals

Requirements:

  • Degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of C++ and commercial software development
  • Experience with C# and.Net frameworks, especially WPF
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices
  • Experience with standard software engineering tools, such as Git and Azure DevOps
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, set objectives, and monitor progress
