About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Renishaw PLC. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and integration of software components analyzing, visualizing, and managing real-time data generated throughout the AM 3D printing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and lead the software development lifecycle: specification, design, and test-driven development, through to verification, deployment, and maintenance of software components.
  • Collaborate as part of an Agile Software team, ensuring quality, timeliness, value, and requirements are at the forefront.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement and innovation of AM software projects.
  • Critique development and process practices, then refine and promote innovation and improvement to code quality, product delivery, and team effectiveness.
  • Mentor junior team members by imparting domain knowledge and fostering excellent software engineering practices by example.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, another relevant STEM subject, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Experience of developing C# components.
  • Experience of developing WPF applications.
  • Experience within an Agile development, using DevOps practices.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with C++, Cuda, DirectX, MATLAB.
  • Experience with MS Visual Studio, ReSharper, Azure DevOps.
