About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Renishaw PLC. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software components for our machine automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and test software components for machine automation systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions
  • Contribute to the development of robust and maintainable software architecture
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality code
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for software components
Requirements
  • Proven experience in software development using C#
  • Qualified to degree level in an Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, Physical Sciences, or a Mathematics related discipline
  • Experience in developing robust and maintainable object-oriented software
  • Experience in using unit testing frameworks
  • Experience in using standard software engineering tools
  • Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation
  • Mathematical understanding of 3D geometry, vector transformations, rigid body kinematics, and point data set manipulation
