Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at an OFSTED-rated 'Good' school in Liverpool. As a key member of the education team, you will provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise pupils with SEND, ensuring their safety and accessibility to learning activities and understanding of information presented.
  • Build trusting relationships with pupils and communicate effectively according to their understanding.
  • Promote class interaction and ensure pupils engage throughout lessons.
  • Create purposeful, orderly, and supportive environments.
  • Assist with display of pupils' work and planning of learning activities.
  • Provide feedback to pupils, parents, and carers about progress, achievements, and concerns.
Requirements
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience in schools preferred.
  • Two relevant professional references.

Compensation

An estimated salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
