Job Summary

We are recruiting for a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with pupils who require support with their social, emotional, and mental health needs in a specialist school in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH, and a passion for education.

Responsibilities
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students by creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Support pupils consistently while responding to their individual needs and developing trusting relationships.
  • Work under the guidance of the teacher to provide tailored support and interventions.
Requirements
  • Recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • The ability to work under the guidance of the teacher and as part of a team.
