Job Description

This Inventory Management Specialist role involves overseeing our inventory and supply chain operations, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and optimising inventory levels to meet production needs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills to monitor supplier performance, address quality and delivery issues, and implement cost-saving measures.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures to maximise stock turnover and reduce waste.
  • Coordinate with sales and commodity teams to forecast demand and manage inventory replenishment.
  • Maintain and enhance plant purchasing and supply chain policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in planning, purchasing, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledge of MRP Systems, Oracle business systems, and alignment with industry trends, inventory, and supply chain management best practices is also essential.

Salary Information

$95,000 - $125,000 per annum, depending on experience.
