Job Description

Job Title: Service Manager - Safeguarding and DoLS

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Strategic Safeguarding, DoLS, and Transitions services in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will drive personalisation, ensure the smooth running of the Safeguarding and DoLS teams, and chair forums to drive safe practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement improvement plans across your areas and ensure delivery of processes across the services.
  • Mentor and coach Team Managers in your leadership team to ensure wider team goals and objectives are achieved.
  • Lead through a strategic lens, driving personalisation and citizen feedback to shape delivery.
  • Chair forums and drive safe practice through quality assurance activity.

Requirements:

  • Experience in performance management and Safeguarding, DoLS, and Transitions legal framework and policy.
  • Operational leadership skills, with the ability to lead through a strategic lens.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
