About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Engineering Delivery Manager to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a key member of our Fleet Operations Directorate, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineering line leaders, specialists, and industrial workers to achieve project goals and maintain operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of engineering professionals to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective engineering strategies to ensure the highest standards of health and safety, quality, and schedule.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure the delivery of projects to the required standards.
  • Support the development of engineering capability to meet future programme demands.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing multi-disciplined engineering teams on large-scale, complex projects within a high regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of safety management within a high-risk, complex environment.
  • Leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and assess complex engineering work packages and deliver them in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders.
