Pastoral Care Assistant

We are Milk Education, a rapidly growing school in Hull, seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to fill our Student Support Assistant role.
This position involves providing proactive support to students, teachers, and staff members, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment and promoting academic progress and student welfare.
Working Hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting teaching staff with pastoral care, academic progress, and student welfare.
- Managing challenging situations and promoting positive attitudes among students.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students, teachers, and staff members.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with pupils in a classroom setting, demonstrating ability to differentiate work according to individual child's needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues and develop strong relationships.
- Proven track record of effective behaviour management and patience, ensuring a positive impact on student outcomes.
- Ability to be physically active and work in fast-paced situations, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
Estimated Salary Range: £27,000 - £36,000 per annum
