Survey Manager Job Description

**Job Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Survey Manager to lead our in-house surveying team at A2Dominion Housing Group Ltd. This role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of an efficient, accurate, and high-quality surveying service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of building systems and experience in property surveying techniques and methodologies. They will also be able to design and oversee a rolling 20% stock condition survey, including HHSRS, ensuring accurate, high-quality data collection across the portfolio.

**Responsibilities:** The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing EPC data collection for regulatory compliance and supporting energy efficiency strategies
  • Organising and managing external survey resources, ensuring clear specifications, methodologies, and high-performance standards
  • Providing expert input, guidance, and recommendations on surveying matters
  • Implementing robust quality assurance to meet industry standards, comply with regulations, and adopt best practices

**Requirements:** To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying or a related field
  • Significant experience of property surveying techniques and methodologies
  • Demonstrable experience in commissioning and managing stock condition surveys, technical assessments, and inspections to gather essential asset data and intelligence
  • Experience of line management responsibility

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £68,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including 25 days' holiday (plus Bank Holidays) increasing up to 28 days with 3 years of service, up to 8% contributory pension, flexible working, investment in your learning and development, and more.
