About the Role

The Inclusion Service is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill a temporary leadership role in the Information and Support Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a team of coordinators, providing advice and support to parents, schools, and services, and working closely with the Pathway Manager to promote inclusive educational solutions.

Main Duties
  • Support the Pathway Manager in promoting and securing inclusive educational solutions for children and young people at risk of specialist provision.
  • Manage the team of Information and Support Coordinators, providing training and oversight of cases.
  • Work with schools and agencies to raise awareness of statutory duties regarding children not attending or educated in school.
  • Assist with the transition process back into education through case oversight or active service work.
  • Provide advice and support to coordinators on challenging calls and complex cases.
  • Play an active part in the Service's improvement journey by organizing QA activities for the Information and Support Coordinators.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar service or environment.
  • Experience in accurately capturing, storing, and retrieving information to meet organizational and customer needs.
  • Knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to children not attending or educated in school.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team lead with a dynamic and harmonious approach.
  • Ability to support others to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
