Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Activities and Events Coordinator to join our team at Falmouth & Exeter Students' Union.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of activities and events that cater to the diverse interests of students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing event programs that meet the needs of students.
  • Building relationships with external partners to secure funding and resources for events.
  • Managing budgets and finances related to events and activities.
  • Collaborating with the Communities team to ensure smooth delivery of events and activities.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and external partners.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in event management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work on-campus during term-time and occasional evenings/weekends.
