Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Enterprise Data Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Services business, you will be responsible for providing superb customer service to a broad range of clients and ensuring a deep understanding of Bloomberg's many Enterprise Product offerings.

You will be exposed and responsible for answering a wide range of questions across Bloomberg Data, Connectivity, Integration and Real-Time market data offerings. The position includes assisting fast-paced clients operating in Capital Markets, Asset Management and Financial Services and working with them to understand how they are using Bloomberg's Enterprise Data products.

We tackle our clients' software and data needs, we understand how it relates to their workflows and evolving business growth. Working with critical information and highly sophisticated tools, we enable our clients to leverage the full power of Bloomberg Data.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to clients through live, interactive media (e.g. video calling, phone, messaging, etc.)
  2. Develop a deep understanding of Bloomberg's Enterprise Product offerings and provide expert-level support to clients
  3. Assist clients in understanding how to use Bloomberg's Enterprise Data products to meet their business needs
  4. Work with clients to troubleshoot issues and resolve technical problems
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
Requirements
  1. Up to 3 years of technical client services experience, ideally in financial services
  2. A demonstrated interest in Finance, Technology, Computer Science and/or systems information
  3. Ability and desire to provide outstanding customer service to clients
  4. Desire to develop skills and experience in customer service in a fast-moving FinTech environment
  5. Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to work independently and as part of a larger global team
  6. A Passion for continuous learning across various areas (i.e. technology, financial markets)
  7. Ability to learn new technologies on the job and absorb new information quickly
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  2. A basic understanding of market data and associated financial instruments
  3. Awareness of data management, privacy and network connectivity
  4. A basic conceptual understanding of Web Services and REST API's
  5. Ability to work within highly connected and software-based systems
  6. Spanish and Italian Language skills would be a plus

About the Team

This team handles a large volume of tickets for some of Bloomberg's most sensitive and critical clients who take our data into internal and third-party applications to make vital market decisions.

Excellent Customer Service, accuracy and speed are your primary tools as the face of Bloomberg's Enterprise Data Business.

We will focus on your training and understanding of our processes which will give you the tools to make an impact with some of the best firms in the market.
