Senior Mental Health Therapist for ICU Patients

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist or Specialist Psychotherapist to provide EMDR therapy and other psychological interventions for individuals experiencing psychological distress following an admission to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Key Responsibilities- Conduct a remote clinic once a week, seeing up to 3 patients.
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions for patients referred within the critical care department.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, identifying the specific needs of each patient to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
- Monitor and review patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Essential
- Training and experience in EMDR therapy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience working within the NHS or similar healthcare setting.
- Post-qualification specialist experience working with complex needs.
