Job Title: College Chaplain

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated individual to join our team as a College Chaplain. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our distinctive Christian ethos.

Job Summary

The College Chaplain will be an ambassador for the Christian faith, exercising a ministry that is pastoral and offers spiritual leadership amongst students and staff. You will work closely with the Principal and senior staff to develop and implement a comprehensive chaplaincy program that supports the spiritual lives of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead worship services and other spiritual activities that promote the Christian faith and values
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students and staff, working closely with the school's pastoral team
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement a comprehensive chaplaincy program that supports the spiritual lives of our community
  • Work with local churches and community networks to promote the school's Christian ethos and values
  • Support the school's outreach in the community, working with vulnerable families and organizing charity events
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about the Christian faith and has a strong commitment to pastoral care and spiritual leadership. You will have a degree in theology or a related field and experience in chaplaincy or a related field. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and the wider community.
