Commercial Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial / Construction Manager to join our team at Mace. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects, including contract administration, cost control, and risk management.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to ensure project profitability and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that commercial requirements are met.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks, including changes to project scope, delays, and cost overruns.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- RICS or similar qualification.
- Substantial experience in commercial management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, cost control, and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
