Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Commercial Manager to join our client's dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record in the construction or manufacturing industries.

This role will involve overseeing all commercial aspects of the business, from managing client relationships and contracts to driving profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate, review, and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure favourable terms and compliance with legal and commercial standards.
  • Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met. Work closely with the finance team to forecast revenues, manage cash flow, and assess financial risks.
  • Contribute to the development of the company's commercial strategy, identifying market opportunities, and driving business growth.
  • Manage and mentor a team of commercial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Identify potential commercial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company's interests are protected.
  • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, ideally within the construction, manufacturing, or related industries, with a focus on ceiling or internal products.

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

Leadership role with significant influence on the company's commercial strategy and success.
