Job Title: Quality and Compliance Manager

Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team at D R Newitt Recruitment. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of our Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report on QMS performance
  • Work with managers and staff to ensure QMS and FSMS meet legal and industry standards
  • Lead the food safety team, organize training, and manage competencies
  • Oversee supplier management and maintain raw material specifications
  • Manage customer quality issues, including complaints and corrective actions
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for risk management and support sustainability initiatives
  • Work with the Health & Safety consultant on audits, risk assessments, and incident analysis

Requirements:

  • Background in quality or compliance within food science or manufacturing
  • Proficient in IT and document management
  • Degree in Food Science or related field; Level 3 in HACCP, Food Safety & Hygiene
