Role Description
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a talented clinician to join us as Clinical Academic Lead in Infection Prevention. As a joint appointment with Edge Hill University, the successful candidate will contribute to research and academic excellence while providing expert infection advice. The salary for this position is estimated at £85,000 - £125,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities
The appointed individual will provide clinical advice, manage positive blood cultures, and attend ward rounds. They will also contribute to research projects and develop a subspecialty interest. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Required Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a primary medical qualification, be fully registered with the GMC, and have experience in their specialism. A doctoral level qualification in a relevant academic discipline is desirable. The ability to critically reflect on teaching design and delivery, lead and work in a team, and influence others are essential qualities.
