About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Little Brook Hospital, Dartford. As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating care for patients with acute mental health conditions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, taking into account relevant mental, physical, social, cultural, psychological, spiritual, and environmental factors.
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines, patients, and their carers to develop holistic care plans that address identified needs.
  • Deliver and evaluate safe, competent patient-centred care in partnership with the service user and their carers to support recovery.

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: RMN or equivalent, completion of a preceptorship programme.
  • Desirable qualifications: evidence of post-qualification personal and practice development.
  • Essential experience: pre-registration experience of mental health settings and/or working with people with mental health conditions, experience of working within an acute mental health setting.
  • Desirable experience: some clinical experience of mental health problems.
