Cancer Care Specialist

At Nuffield Health Tunbridge Wells Hospital, we have an exciting opportunity for a Cancer Care Specialist to join our dedicated team. As part of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to oncology, haemato-oncology, and elective surgical patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on safe prescribing within oncology, haemato-oncology, and peri-operative medicine. You will also be involved in daily coordination of the administration and delivery of SACT treatments to patients, maintaining effective communication with the pharmacy dispensary.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and self-motivated pharmacist with at least 4-5 years of post-qualification experience. A background in oncology and haemato-oncology is essential, with the ability to screen and verify oncology and haemato-oncology regimes and prescriptions. As a Cancer Care Specialist, you will:
- Deliver a high-quality clinical pharmacy service within Nuffield Health Hospital Tunbridge Wells to oncology, haemato-oncology, and elective surgical patients.
- Maintain pharmaceutical care plans for all oncology and haemato-oncology patients.
- Support and advise clinicians on safe prescribing within oncology, haemato-oncology, and peri-operative medicine.
The salary for this position is £52,500.00 per annum, plus benefits including free private healthcare and a cycle to work scheme.
