Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our team at Lipson Vale Primary School, part of Devon County Council. The successful candidate will provide front-line administrative support, working collaboratively with our attendance leadership team to monitor and improve attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the school office, including answering queries and maintaining accurate records.
- Record and report on pupil data, including attendance and free school meal applications.
- Administer and support the organisation of medicine in school.
- Maintain the school information management system (SIMs) and provide information to the Local Authority and other partners in line with GDPR policies.
- Coordinate the admissions process and provide administrative support to the attendance leadership team.
Requirements:
- Experience of SIMs, Microsoft programmes (including Teams and Excel) and Cashless Catering systems.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
