Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Residential Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for children and young people in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to the physical and emotional needs of children and young people, providing a nurturing and stable environment that promotes their overall well-being.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create positive developmental experiences for children and young people, aligning with the objectives of the Health and Social Care Partnership Plan and the Community Plan.
Requirements
Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, requires successful applicants to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update.
Please note that PVG members' records are constantly updated with new vetting information, and any relevant information will be discussed with the applicant prior to a formal offer of employment.

We follow the national guidance on pre-employment checks, and applicants should provide details of two appropriate and relevant references, one from their current or most recent employer.
Additional Information
Two full-time positions are available within Sunnyside & Benrig Children's Houses, with the possibility of working between all three houses. A 3-week rolling rota will be confirmed with the line manager, and the annual salary is £32,000 - £34,000, inclusive of a 12.5% shift allowance.
